LAKKI MARWAT: The Grand Health Alliance on Friday expressed grave concern over blaming doctors for the death of two people who were injured in a firing incident in Lakki city three days back.
Speaking at a press conference here, president of the alliance Dr Muhammad Ibrahim said that the doctors along with paramedics were on duty in the Emergency Ward in the City Hospital when three dead and two injured were brought there.
He said the crowd of people barged into the ward and locked the staff members in the retiring room after the two injured expired. “The hospital staff members have all the proof and evidence to ascertain that the doctors and paramedics were present on the occasion and they tried their best to save the injured,” he said.

LAKKI MARWAT: Five people, including three passers-by, were killed when armed men attacked their rivals, who were released from jail on Wednesday.
Sources said Syed Alam and Awal Khan were going to their home in Tajori village after being freed from the Lakki prison, when they were attacked in Baghban locality of the Lakki city.
The two men and a passer-by identified as Khadim received multiple injuries and died on the spot.
The sources said two other passers-by identified as Jehangir and Mohammad Gul also sustained wounds during the firing. They were shifted to the government city hospital, where they died.

At least five people were gunned down over a family feud in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district.
Local police told The Express Tribune that near Government Primary School, Mohalla Baghbanan, unknown people opened fire in which three people were killed and two were left seriously injured. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where they also succumbed to their injuries.
Police said that the deceased had been identified as Khadim Khan, Syed Alam and Awal Khan. Two injured Jehangir and Fuji succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, bringing the death toll to 5 in the incident.

LAKKI MARWAT: Five persons, including three passers-by, were killed near Mohalla Baghban in Lakki City on Wednesday, police said.
They said that Said Alam and Awal Khan, residents of Tajori, were heading to their homes after they were released from the Sub-Jail Lakki when their rivals opened indiscriminate fire on them.
As a result, both of them and a passer-by identified as Khadim were killed on the spot while two passers-by, Jehangir and Muhammad Gul, sustained serious injuries.
After the incident, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the dead and injured to the City Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
