That means we have to do more to protect and strengthen Social Security and medicare. One of the best ways we can strengthen Social Security is by growing our economy. Wage, ande minimum im the only candidate who supports that, we will pour billions into our system. When we achieve equal pay for equal work when women in the Second District are only receiving . 78 on the dollar we can cut the shortfall in Social Security. When it comes to medicare we need to do common sense things, like i have done in the state legislature. We saved medicaid 4 million a year by allowing generic drug use.
