Over 100 local teens and young adults attended this year’s “Adulting 101: Life Skills for Teens” event Saturday with the goal of taking up to four workshops aimed at teaching life skills not typically taught in high school.
“Share a healthy meal with your community at Riverbend Manor’s Community Room, 664 Cummins Way,” the event’s website stated. “Congregate dining is intended for seniors 60 years of age or older. Please reserve 24 hours in advance.”
The Yolo County Library and Friends of the Yolo Branch Library will be holding their Cruisin’ into the Next Chapter Classic Car and Truck Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Yolo.
Woodland’s “Adulting 101: Life Skills for Teens” will return Saturday, Sept. 9 allowing students to choose up to four workshops to learn about life skills not typically taught in high school.
