After collecting dust and notoriety for the past 17 years, Navarre Beach s infamous Turner House a dilapidated red brick home at the end of Gulf Boulevard that has sat dormant and derelict since Hurricane Ivan in 2004 finally has a resolution in sight.
Santa Rosa County lawyers reached a settlement agreement via mediation in February with the home s owners, Gary and Staci Turner, about the future of the 6,340-square-foot house. The agreement lays out a four-phase, 180-day timeline for the Turners to complete needed repairs and construction projects on the home to make it safe and bring it up to code.
