OTI Racing s Northern Hemisphere three-year-old colt Ottoman Emperor is likely to be given his first chance in Stakes company after winning his third consecutive race at Navan on Saturday.
The Johnny Murtagh-trained Ottoman Emperor ($5) defeated four rivals in a €18,500 (A$29,000) three-year-old handicap over 2012 metres, including last-start five-length maiden winner Tazaral ($3 favourite) by 1.75 lengths. He s a nice horse, he s on the improve and seems to be getting better with racing, jockey Shane Kelly told Irishracing.com. He s exciting and he loves to battle. He s a bit idle but then something comes to him and he loves to fight.
