In a statement, Nygren said, "The Act ensures that victims of crimes are treated with ke’, fairness, respect and dignity within the Navajo criminal justice system."
The Navajo Nation Victims' Rights Act was passed unanimously by the council now it's only waiting for a signature from Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren.
