Navajo Nation Council members joined U.S. Navy officials and Navajo veterans to celebrate the historic christening of the USNS Navajo, a new class of rescue, towing, and salvage ships that honors the service of Navajo Veterans and the Navajo Nation Code Talkers, during a special ceremony held Aug. 26 at the Bollinger Shipyard in Houma, LA.
