DAYTONA BEACH SHORES  Debra Smith and her husband, Doug, watched this week’s nighttime SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from the bedroom of their 21st-floor unit at the landmark Peck Plaza, a glorious view that has taken a long time to become reality. “It has been a long wait, but it’s worth it,” said Debra, 59, one of the 100 condominium owners who has moved into the iconic 29-story condominium tower that is coming to life again more than four years after suffering major damage from a series of hurricanes starting with Hurricane Matthew in October 2016. “There’s not anything that matches the view this building has,” she said. “I can see the sun come up and then walk over here to the bedroom and watch it go down. I never dreamed I’d have anything this nice in my life.”
