Voters in Brewster, Eastham, Orleans and Wellfleet collectively gave a thumbs-up Tuesday to the $131.8 million Nauset Regional High School building project.
Uncertified results from town clerks offices in the four Nauset School District towns showed 6,321 votes in favor of the project, with 2,577 opposed.
Voters in three district towns gave overwhelming approval to the project. Eastham, Orleans and Wellfleet approved it by 79%, 74% and 88%, respectively. There was more of a fight in Brewster, the town that will pay nearly 48% of the costs of the capital project. Still, 60% of Brewster voters said yes to the project.
