Wildlife Detectives NHM Science & Nature Youth Camp This week, students will be wildlife detectives! Students will learn about local wildlife and how to safely examine, track, and identify various fauna. Students will practice tool use, journaling, examine skulls & bones, identify and cast tracks, engage with live animals, and much more. Get your magnifying glasses ready! Camp will be daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is geared for students between the ages of 4-9 years old as of the first day of camp.

Pollination Planet NHM Science & Nature Youth Camp This week, students will observe the process of pollination and its importance in the ecosystem. Students will learn about flower growth and pollination processes through examination of museum specimens, native botanicals, and experimentation. We will identify and examine pollinators in action to learn what makes them so important! Camp will be daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is geared for students between the ages of 4-9 years old as of the first day of camp.

Science and Nature Youth Camps at the Natural History Museum Registration Open Register now for youth camps in July-August. Registration is open until full. Each camp will be Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 4-9 at the Natural History Museum of Cal Poly Humboldt. Camp topics will include: Science Heroes, Pollination Planet, Wildlife Detectives, and From Dino Egg to Chicken.
