Phone glitch is hampering Walkerston business owner

Premium Content Subscriber only A Walkerston business owner has been left hamstrung by a technical fault on her Telstra phone line that means clients cannot book appointments. Walkerston Natural Therapies Centre owner Julie Williams said the glitch in the network meant her clients, many of whom were built up over 23 years of operation, were unable to get in touch. Mrs Williams said the problem started on Tuesday, February 9, when the Telstra message bank voice switched from a woman to a man, and some recordings were delayed by hours. When she tried to change the overnight voicemail, which she had done every day for years, she was unable to record the message and instead it defaulted to the previous one telling clients the business was closed.
