Lenovo updated its ThinkPad portfolio yesterday with some new P14s and P15s laptops, and the new X13 Yoga convertibles - packing the latest 11th Gen Intel Core vPro processors or the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processors. However, if you’re in the market for a display that uses Thunderbolt, then you might be interested to learn that Lenovo has recently announced its new ThinkVision P40w-20 monitor that comes with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. Advertising For those unfamiliar, Thunderbolt is the successor to Thunderbolt 3 and comes with some new specs and features. It will retain the same 40Gb/s speeds as its successor, but it will now support longer cables of up to 2m in length. It will also be capable of supporting two 4K displays instead of one (or a single 8K display). It will also support speeds of up to 32Gb/s when it comes to PCIe connections, doubling that of Thunderbolt 3.
