The output rose 23.1% compared with the 2019 level. In April, China s natural gas output came in at 16.9bn m 3, up 7% yr/yr, and the average daily production came in at 560mn m 3. The country s natural gas imports in the first four months of 2021 surged 22.4% yr/yr to 39.46mn metric tons, the country s customs department said on May 7.

It intends to deploy continuous emissions monitoring technology developed by Avitas, part of the Baker Hughes group, to help achieve certification under the MiQ methane standard. At the same time, it will seek certification under Equitable Origin’s EO100™ standard for responsible energy development. Avitas, using its Lumen Terrain technology, will monitor NNE’s production facilities to enhance the EO100™ and MiQ certification process, including the company’s entire operating field in north central West Virginia.

India s crude oil production fell by 5 per cent and natural gas output slumped by 8 per cent in the fiscal year to March 2021 as private and public sector firms produced less, government data showed on Tuesday. Crude oil production fell to 30.5 million tonnes in 2020-21 from 32.17 million tonnes a year back, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
