The Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development (FRIEND Fiji) has come to the aid of infants and toddlers in need of basic baby necessities at the Natokowaqa Public Rental Board flats that is under lockdown at present.
FRIEND director Sashi Kiran said they were contacted by some concerned residents and felt the need to attend to this urgent need.

Residents at the Natokowaqa Public Rental Board flats in Lautoka woke up to a lockdown of their area after four positive cases were found earlier this week.
Police set up the roadblock from 4am yesterday after the discovery.
According to police officers at the scene, swab testing teams from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services were mobilised to the housing development yesterday.
A resident who wished to remain anonymous explained that they understood the need for the lockdown.
“A lot of us were caught off guard by it, but we know it is necessary,” the resident said.
