Acting Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudingco reported on Saturday that as of July 8, they have received 487,628 applications, based on the Nationwide Consolidated Daily Report released by Divina Blas-Perez of the Election and Barangay Affairs Department (ECAD). The registrants include 302,040 aged 15 to 17 years old; 157,925 aged 18 to 30; and 27,663 aged 31 years old and above. ECAD also recorded 88,471 applicants for transfer from other cities/municipalitie
