Smokes from Canadian wildfires are creating a smokey haze in parts of northern and eastern Utah, the state Department of Environmental Quality said Friday. Already this year, Canada is seeing above-average wildfire activity.

It was rather hazy in Mitchell on Thursday as smoke from Canadian wildfires found its way into South Dakota.
