Sheriffs deputy died in a shootout today. Two others were wounded by a suspect inside a motel room while investigators investigated air stolen car ring. The suspect was also shot. The deputy who died, leaves behind his girlfriend, Adult Children and grandchildren. The floodwaters in the houston area are starting to recede but more rain fell today in eastern texas and western louisiana. The death toll also went up to 21. Thousands have been rescued and still crews out in boats picking up flood victims. In the past week, they have made more than 8,500 rescues, more than 26 thousand evacuations.
