It shouldnt be long at all before that happens and that is good for patients but Kaiser Permanente cant exhale just yet. The agreement between kaiser and the registered nurses union ends longstalled talks over new contracts. The most recent one expired last august. 18,000 registered nurses in northern and Central California were prepared to strike over a twoday period next week. But not any longer. The California Nurses Association says the new three year pact is a big victory for registered nurses. And this is huge, and we are super excited that kaiser decided to increase the amount of nurses that will be taking care of these patients.
