PNTA board members work to provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance for the Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT).
The PNT is a 1200-mile non-motorized recreation trail running from the Continental Divide in Montana s Glacier National Park to the Pacific Ocean on Washington s Olympic Coast. It was designated the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail by Congress under the National Trails System Act in 2009. The PNT crosses three national parks, seven national forests, two other national scenic trails and several mountain ranges.
The PNTA is a healthy 501c3 with a growing base of support. Board members are involved with fundraising, outreach, strategic planning and programmatic oversight working to see the PNT completed, protected, and funded while maintaining a commitment to the PNTA’s mission.
