New accusations of Sexual Misconduct are being leveled at powerful men seemingly every day. The latest could have national implications. In a story first reported by the Washington Post and confirmed by cbs news, four women accuse Alabama Republican Roy Moore of pursuing them when they were teens, and he was in his 30s. Moore is running in a special election next month for the u. S. Senate, where republicans hold a slim 5248 majority. Nancy cordes reports, members of moores own party now want him out. This stems from a report in the Washington Post where a woman claims that roy moore pursued her and initiated a sexual encounter with her while she was a teen. She was 14, he was 32 all the the time. These allegations are prompting some republicans, including the Senate Majority leader to say if these allegations are true, roy moore should step aside. Rebuilding is another matter. Its going to be three to five years for most of the rebuild. Reporter full recovery predicts keith woods of the north Coast Builders exchange will perhaps take a decade. Every contractor i know in the area was busy before these devastating fires hit us. And this is going to put a real strain on capacity of local contractors. Reporter making matters more complicated, theres a serious shortage of labor to work for those contractors. We do not have anywhere near the capacity, the number of contractors to even come close to rebuilding the homes that weve lost up here in the tragedy.
