Segurança: Transferência de presos e polícia penal são destaques do Paraná em reunião do Consej

© SESP-PR Melhorias para o sistema prisional do Brasil foram os temas da reunião do Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Estado de Justiça, Cidadania, Direitos Humanos e Administração Penitenciária (Consej), realizada nesta semana, em Brasília. O encontro foi organizado pelo Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública. O secretário da Segurança Pública do Paraná, Romulo Marinho Soares, destacou transferência de presos e a proposta de criação da polícia penal no Paraná. A transferência de quase 10 mil presos das carceragens da polícia Civil à gestão plena do Departamento Penitenciário (Depen-Paraná) possibilita à polícia judiciária do Estado focar na investigação, que é sua função constitucional. “Em 2019 eram mais de 11 mil presos em carceragens de delegacias, hoje temos cerca de mil e queremos zerar este número, o que é um grande avanço”, afirmou.
