Theres a couple Little Things we can hang our hats on for today. Its pretty much for today only. It goes back its super hot and super humid tomorrow. Right now of course its hot already, 81 in town. Maybe you noticed, maybe you have not noticed, the humidity level is down a little bit believe it or not. Its not a lot. But its not going to be quite so humid today. Not as humid as yesterday. Certainly not as humid as it will be tomorrow. So theres a little bit of break here. Still super hot later today. Were 81 degrees this morning and were starting off 7 00, temperature of 81, it will be hot. 75 dulles and 75 fredericksburg and frederick is 72. Okay. Thunderstorm activity with a little bit of it yesterday and last evening and its all and we dont really have to worry so much about thunderstorms today. Maybe its tonight. Not so much today
Simply that was just waiting to happen. Traffic on the freeway is moving freely right now, north and southbound underneath this 23rd avenue overpass. What occurred is what several tons of the steel guardrail topped with the fence gave way and fell on to the busy freeway below. Joe bravo saw them out of their front window as they quickly approached and saw them forward. They are heading south. Out of nowhere you see the plume of smoke that will rise in the air and all of a sudden you see a bunch of vehicle debris, scattered through both sides of 880. And as we get a little bit closer, we realize that it is what it was and that there was a guardrail draped over quite a few cars on the south side and on the north side, where there is a vehicle that appeared to be on fire. Reporter get this the overpass was expected last february by their maintenance engineers. Thats the same division up there inspecting it, apparently that it will be noteworthy, the same that will be responsible. They say
