Women experiencing infertility had a higher nonfatal stroke risk compared with those without infertility. By stroke subtypes, there was an increased association between miscarriage and ischemic stroke.
The study, commissioned by the Department for Education, will follow around 8,500 children for the first five years of their lives at least. Above: Children in 1946, when the first study took place.
