The executive branch and Congress have agreed to push for the passage of 10 priority bills by June 2, including the measures on the mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps and the Maharlika Investment Fund, Malacañang said yesterday.
The House of Representatives approved on third and final reading last week the measure reviving the mandatory Reserve Officer Training Corps in colleges or universities. Voting 276-4-1, House Bill No. 6687 seeks to restore the ROTC back to the curriculum for all students in higher educational institutions.
