Of our continuing effort to lower healthcare costs on behalf of the American People. We promised in advance of november 2018. Where we given the opportunity to serve in the majority, we would focus like a laser beam on driving down the high cost of lifesaving Prescription Drugs. The American People pay more for Prescription Medication than any other developed country in the world. We pay more than canada or australia or japan or great written or france or germany. Often times, five or six times the amount for the same drug manufactured in the same location. It is unacceptable and it is an emerging bipartisan consensus that we need to do something about it. Hr three is the vehicle to accomplish that objective. By finally giving medicare and the federal government the power to negotiate lower drug prices on behalf of the American People.
