LOUISVILLE, Ky. The Oldham County School Board has found its next superintendent to lead the district.
Officials voted Tuesday night to appoint Dr. Jason Radford for the top post.
Radford is currently the assistant superintendent with Boone County Schools and has held various roles in the education sector including National School Leadership Coach and the district manager for the Kentucky Department of Education.
He has also held role as a teacher, assistant principal and high school principal.
The Oldham County Board of Education voted Tuesday night to appoint Jason Radford, currently an assistant superintendent with Boone County Schools in Northern Kentucky, as the next leader of the district.
Radford has worked in Boone County Schools since 2019 and leads its Office of School and System Improvement, which provides equitable, accessible, rigorous, and relevant learning opportunities to all students, according to a Tuesday news release.
He was chosen over two other finalists for the superintendent position.
Radford previously worked as a National School Leadership coach and worked for the Kentucky Department of Education as an acting Title I director and district manager as well as an educational recovery leader at Newport High School.
