Sergeant tony beminio had been with the Des Moines Police Department Since 2005. Officer Justin Martin just joined the Urbandale Department last year. Scott greene is accused of killing both officers. The shootings happened within 20 minutes of each other early yesterday morning. Police said the officers had no chance to defend themselves. From what ive been told so far there was absolutely nothing we had High Expectations of his future and its tragically been cut very short here. Police in the des moines area are familiar with greene. Hes been arrested multiple times on various charges. Most recently, he was removed from a High School Football game in urbandale after apparently showing a Confederate Flag during the national anthem.
