Die WAZ-Corona-Frage des Tages beschäftigt sich mit der Zahl der bisher positiv gemeldeten Personen. The UN Conference for Environment and Development, at which the Convention on Biological Diversity – the first global agreement on protection of natural resources and their sustainable development, has been agreed to be signed, was held in Rio de Janeiro on June 5, 1992. The goals of the Convention on Biological Diversity is to preserve biodiversity on all levels, to provide sustainable use of its components, to provide access to genetic resources and their joint use of fair basis. At this time, the Convention has been ratified by 196 countries.
May 22, the day of agreement and adoption of the Convention, was declared by the UN General Assembly by its Resolution for December 20, 200 as International Biological Diversity Day. Subject of 2021 “We are all a part of decisions” highlights importance of joint efforts and improvement of awareness about protection of biological diversity.
This Toolkit provides guidance to parties, counsel and arbitrators in situations where a party to arbitration proceedings is also subject to insolvency proceedings in one or more jurisdictions. In 2019, the IBA Arbitration Committee established a sub-group to examine the intersection of insolvency and arbitration and develop meaningful guidance for the arbitration community on the subject. The Toolkit, published by the Committee in March 2021, consists of three parts:
National Reports from 19 countries, discussing the legal approach to the intersection of arbitration and insolvency in their jurisdiction An Explanatory Memorandum, providing a detailed explanation of the relevant concepts discussed in the National Reports and how they may impact domestic and international arbitrations

As of 25 February 2021, a total of 3,965,322 COVID-19 cases COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, out of which 68,982 fatalities have been reported.
On 23 February 2021, IOM, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West Asia (UNESCWA), in coordination with the members of the Regional UN Network on Migration and with the support of the UN Network Secretariat, organized the Multi-Stakeholder Consultation prior to the GCM Regional Review in the Arab Region. The Consultation was followed by a discussion between various stakeholders regarding implementation and good practices but also challenges in the implementation of the GCM, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic.
