The protective services, including police, army, fire and coast guard, ensured orderly queues as the venue opened for use as a vaccine distribution site. The Ministry of Health opened the Paddock and the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua, in addition to other additional sites in Morvant, Carenage and St Helena, to expedite the distribution of vaccines.

TATT boss eager to implement development plan Friday 5 March 2021 HAYDEN Mitchell, who was re-elected as president of the Tennis Association of TT (TATT) on Sunday, is eager for the implementation of a development plan, during his third term in office. Mitchell was given the mandate to continue as TATT president, for another two-year spell, during the group’s elections at the National Cycling Centre, Couva on Sunday. “We’ve be working towards a four-year development plan with the ITF (International Tennis Federation), which we’ll be executing,” Mitchell said, during an interview on Tuesday. “I think this is why people have the confidence to put us back in.”
