Adding to her list of honors following a sensational weekend in the circle at the Razorback Invitational, redshirt senior RHP Chenise Delce has been named Wilson/NFCA’s National Pitcher of the Week for the second time in her career.
A program-record five members of the No. 4 Arkansas softball team were named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State pitcher, Kathryn Sandercock was named the NFCA National Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after going 4-0 last week. The McLean, Va. native was lights out as she allowed only three-run in 21.2 innings of work for a 0.97 ERA. Sandercock totaled 21 strikeouts in six appearances as she recorded four wins and a save. She was a part of the Seminoles' combine no-hitter against No. 24 UCF. Sandercock tossed four perfect innings with four strikeouts against the Knights in just 44 total pitches. DALLAS, (NCBWA) - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released its NCAA Division II National Players of the Week awards for the week ending on March 28, 2021. Georgia Southwestern State University senior outfielder Jonathan Martin is the National Hitter of the Week and Metropolitan State University of Denver senior Cade Crader is the National Pitcher of the Week, as both were selected unanimously.
Martin was unstoppable in four games last week, hitting .714 in four games with five home runs and 18 RBIs. The senior outfielder from Irwinville, Ga., became only the second player in PBC history to hit four home runs in a single game, the first since 1993, in the series finale against Augusta. That tied the PBC record and hi
