The National Marine Trades Council has announced the dates and location for its 50th anniversary conference. After a four-year hiatus, NMTC will return July 10-13 on Cape Cod with the host hotel being the Lighthouse Inn, in West Dennis, Mass. The NMTC conference is open to all leaders from local, state and national marine trades
The group will focus on providing technical assistance, support and funding to regional marine associations through an initiative called Building Out Apprenticed Trades (BOAT) Jobs.
When Covid restrictions were widespread, some MTAs found a new revenue stream by charging admission to previously free shows, and visitors had no problem ponying up.
