PALM BEACH â The young man who as a teen faked being a doctor, who swindled a âpatient,â who once tried to forge his way into a Jaguar, and who was spared from serving decades in prison, is back in serious trouble.
Despite warnings from judges to stay legit, the now 23-year-old Malachi Alexander Love-Robinson is in serious trouble over claims he ripped off an employer. The new criminal case will explore why he apparently was deep in another con less than four months after leaving prison.
A 23-year-old who only 15 months ago completed a prison sentence for practicing medicine without a license as a teen has once again stepped afoul of the law, authorities say.
This time investigators contend Malachi Love-Robinson stole more than $10,000 from his latest employer, a Delray Beach-based shipping company, diverting most of that sum directly from customers to his private accounts, according to his arrest report.
Love-Robinson was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Thursday morning and was released on bail 11 hours later. He faces charges of grand theft and fraud.
The owner of United States of Freight, Daniel O Sullivan, alerted police to his suspicions in March.
