Still uncertainty remains because some of the models take this storm inland into the mid atlantic but the euro model keeps it out to sea. Those two scenarios are possible. Heres a look at the model spread right now. From the storm and again you can see the consensus now trying to confine it more into the carolinas thats most likely bet at this point but still some models take it farther to the north an few take it out to sea. The first round going into the weekend will begin friday into saturday. We do have a first alert weather day. Tomorrow well have rain around but the strongest winds and the heaviest rain we expect to start friday. Heavy downpours with very gusty winds. Possibly up to 50 miles an hour wind gusts. Also flooding along the shore and inland. Beach erosion and storm surge possible with the strong on shore winds. Heres whats happening now. A cold front moved through. Now a cooldown going into tomorrow. The winds increased. Windy and breezy and chilly temperatures through the afternoon. Then well be watching this area of low pressure to our south.
