The National Investigative Bureau (NIB) has arrested the CEO of the Bluegrass Group Ltd, Kwadwo Darko-Mensah, also known as Onasis. According to reports, the suspect is to assist in an ongoing investigation in regards to the procurement of some 853,000 pieces of mathematical sets.
Mr Darko-Mensah is said to be a local agent of an international company, Cornfield Group Ltd which was mandated to deliver a total of 853,000 pieces of math sets at a cost of ¢75 per unit. The contract which was awarded by the Education Ministry in September 2019 failed to pull through when the products were neither delivered on schedule or in full.

The Artiste Manager was arrested and detained over some comments made on UTV’s United Showbiz over locked up funds of Menzgold customers. He has meanwhile been granted bail.
In a post on social media, Bulldog described his cell as the ‘roughest and toughest’ and expressed appreciation to former President John Dramani Mahama and his brother Ibrahim.

Artiste manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog has stated that despite his ordeal at the National Investigative Bureau (NIB), his resolve remains unshaken.
Bulldog was picked up last Monday, January 11, by officials of the National Investigative Bureau (NIB), formerly Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) and although no reason has yet been assigned for his arrest, many have speculated it could be for his comments against President Akufo-Addo on
United Showbiz last weekend.
On the show, which airs on UTV and is hosted by Nana Ama McBrown, Bulldog had claimed that President Akufo-Addo wouldn t complete his second term if he didn t pay the customers of Menzgold whose cash had been locked up since 2018.

Otokunor’s driver being tortured by officials of NIB – Lawyer Adawudu
Lawyer for the driver of the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Otokunor, Lawyer Victor Kojogah Adawudu has alleged that the National Investigative Bureau is currently torturing his client.
According to him, he picked information that his client had been picked up by officials of the NIB for reasons yet to be communicated.
However, when he went to the office of the NIB, he was told that the driver had been transferred to Kawukudi and was with an official of the NIB whose identity could not be disclosed.
