northwestern section of haiti. this all falls on the ring of fire. we talk about it so much. tectonic plates shift and move. over 90% of the world s earthquakes occur here. the latest 5:00 a.m. national hurricane center advisory has come out. we have a new tropical depression that s formed just off the yucatan peninsula. this is tropical depression 14. it will soon be tropical storm michael, likely by tonight. the latest advisory has the storm intensifying in the gulf of mexico to a category 1 hurricane before making landfall along the big bend of florida s coast. this is something we re going to monitor for the next 48 to 72 hours. all models and computer agreement that it will take a sharp northeasterly bend. this is important because along the coastal areas of south and north carolina where hurricane florence struck not three weeks ago, significant amounts of flooding and rain for this area. it has the potential to draw in
