San jose Police Investigating a car crash that left three people injured. It happened just before 2 00 this morning on south second at east humboldt, the car was traveling at least 100 miles per hour. No word yet on the conditon of the three patients. Investigators are confident one of three people arrested in the south bay is the criminal who had been evading them since thursday morning. Michael bonnell lives there. He says he heard a loud noise, went outside and encountered police. They hailed me to come out past the gate. And with their weapons drawn at me and told me to put my hands up. So of course i did. Police told him to evacuate the area. People in nearby homes had to shelter in place. Police say there were three people in the silver car. They took two into custody without incident. But the third man ran. I cant overstate the danger that he posed to the people that live in that complex. Reporter the suspect made his way from the apartment property to a neighboring construction site.
