Zimbabwe chief orders Mugabe to be dug out and buried again Robert Mugabe news
Traditional leaders say that the former first lady broke local customs by burying Mugabe in his rural house.
After accusing the wife of the late leader of breaking local customs by detaining him in his rural house in 2019, a traditional chief in Zimbabwe ordered that the body of Robert Mugabe be excavated and placed in Kazakhstan. Funeral in the National Heroes’ Sanctuary in Larley.
Mugabe was deposed due to a coup, which brought Emmerson Mnangagwa to power in November 2017, and took place with the government of President Manangagwa on his final resting place. After weeks of disputes, he was buried in the yard of his house in his Kutama village.
