Downed trees are being reported across the south county this afternoon, resulting in power outages to more than 2,000 customers.
The most significant outage appears to be in the Lakewood, Busti and Ellery areas with 1,911 customers impacted, according to National Grid’s Power Outage map.
About 325 customers were without power west of Gerry in the town of Ellery. Another 62 outages were reported in the Kiantone/Busti area,
Many of the outages began around 3:45 p.m.
Other areas impacted include:
⢠fewer than five in Panama;
⢠fewer than five in Frewsburg;
⢠18 in the town of Harmony.
