In 2017 Congress Gave safe sport jurisdiction to process all types of abuse and develop policies to prevent all forms of abuse and harassment. Both physical and emotional within sports. This was in the aftermath of horrific abuse cases coming to the publics attention across several sports along with some governing body efforts to minimize or even cover up abuse and the refusal to take action against abusers or even promptly notify Law Enforcement. Safe sport was launched to fix the broken system. We are very grateful to have the seal with us today share safe sports view with the commission and i will now yield five minutes
