Ukraine intends to invest more than UAH 6B in mineral resource base development until 2030

The Cabinet of Ministers is planning to invest UAH 2.76 billion in the development of the mineral resource base in the next four years and another UAH 3.53 billion in the period from 2026 to 2030.
Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Roman Abramovsky stated this during the fourth meeting dedicated to the public discussion of the draft National Economic Strategy of Ukraine until 2030, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. From 2010 to 2020, the funding had to reach UAH 10.7 billion. In fact, these volumes remained at a level of just over UAH 1.2 billion, moreover, they were not always used effectively, so the industry is declining.
