The Hoosier State has long been known for basketball, the Indy 500 “the greatest spectacle in racing” and having a plethora of corn, but Indiana’s offerings stretch far beyond its fields and racetracks. From boasting the world’s largest children’s museum to converting original Pullman train cars into hotel rooms, imaginative sites in Indiana can transform ordinary events into one-of-a-kind experiences, and the state’s creative culture is flourishing.
INDIANAPOLIS The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has updated its mask policy.
The following changes take effect immediately:
The museum will no longer require masks in outdoor areas, including the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legend Experience.
Unvaccinated visitors ages two and up are required to wear masks while indoors.
Vaccinated visitors can choose whether or not to wear a mask.
Staff will continue to be masked indoors.
The Children’s Museum said it plans to bring back most of its hands-on experiences over the next three weeks.
The Carousel has reopened at full capacity. All Aboard!, Beyond Spaceship Earth, and National Geographic Treasures of the Earth are all set to open Monday, June 14. More info is available at
