Don't panic Buffalo City Metro says it will consult with ratepayers before it implements the proposed tariff hikes for the 2024/2025 financial year. A recent draft budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) report revealed the metro’s plans to increase the electricity tariff by 15.81% which is above the National Energy Regulator of SA (Nersa) proposed increase of 12.
