NEET PG 2021: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Postgraduate (NEET PG 2021) has been postponed for four months. The decision was taken to boost the availability of medical personnel on COVID duty.
A government release said: A decision was taken to postpone NEET-PG for at least 4 months & the exam will not be held before 31st August 2021. Students will also be given atleast one month of time after the announcement of the exam before it is conducted. This will make a large number of qualified doctors available for Covid duties.

In view of a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Postgraduate (NEET PG 2021) has been postponed, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Thursday. The medical entrance examination was scheduled to be held on April 18. The decision was taken keeping the well-being of the young medical students in mind, Mr Varddhan added.
