Protesters blocked the entrance to the Gauteng Department of Health head office in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning. Department spokesperson Motalatale Modiba said employees who were appointed on a 12-month basis as part of the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) had gathered outside the building.
