Right now. The roof is gone. Much of the inside destroyed. Firefighters spent hours to put this out and we learned the Police Department were the first people here, they were knocking on doors helping to get those people out. The fire began around 5 30. From skyforce 10, you can see flames shooting through the roof. Neighbors who could do smell all that smoke ran outside and called 911. My heart was pounding. I was scared for my nameeighbor. It was very emotional and upsetting. Reporter before firefighters arrived one home was fully engulfed and it spread quickly. With the older homes and common walls it was its difficult. Reporter burlingtons mayor tells us 20 people got out but four people, including some children, went to the hospital with minor burns. They also managed to get some but not all of the pets to safety.
