Citizens have applauded the decision to repeal the harsh and onerous Digital Security Act, 2018. However, the implementation of the CSA could negatively affect social justice, human dignity, fundamental rights, and human rights.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina emphasised the importance of finding the best ways to guarantee the nation's digital security and raising people's awareness of it as the world grows more complex with the introduction of newer technologies at her official Ganabhaban residence, speaking to the National Digital Security Council.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today stressed exploring the best possible ways to ensure the digital security of the country and making people aware of it as the world is becoming more complex with the advent of newer technologies.
"The world is going through a very critical time and Bangladesh also faces its impact. So, well-thought-out opinions need to ensure people's security and continue the country's progress and prosperity to take the nation more forward," she said.
