Purchase committee approves 11 proposals BSS 9th June, 2021 08:04:43 PM The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) approved 11 proposals involving around Taka 2,579.30 crore. Among those, six proposals are of the Road Transport and Highways Division, two of the Local Government Division, one of the Public Security Division, one of the Water Resources Ministry and one of Labour and Employment Ministry. The approval came from the 20th meeting of the CCGP held virtually with Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in the chair. After the meeting, Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division Md Shamsul Arefin said the meeting has approved the proposal of the Dhaka WASA for awarding the package no.-3.1 to China Geo-Engineering Corporation, China under the project for Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply (DESWS) with a cost of around Taka 589.31 crore.
