Over the past eight years, and someone say longer, the country has faced an alarming increase in the number of Cyber Incidents against the public and private sectors, incidents which have ranged in scale and sophistication and severity. Last week, president obama ued we are pleased to convene this group of experts to provide feedback. It is so important that we provide feedback on how best to implement this policy. It directs the department of Homeland Security in coordination with a variety of different federal agencies to submit a National Cyber Incident Response plan within 180 days.
