(CTN News) - As new infections continue to rise after the holidays, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has asked health authorities in important tourist areas to constantly monitor the number of Covid-19 cases.
Ending the government's burden of paying for Covid-19 treatment is more important than declaring the disease endemic, so the health minister is proposing to reclassify it as a "disease under surveillance".
