On April 6, 2021, ASUP decided to commence a nationwide strike action due to some issues. Can you explain some of the things that led to the strike?
The strike was predicated on the level of neglect by the government of the sector. The nine items include the non-constitution of governing councils of federal polytechnics since May last year and in so many other state polytechnics, where there are no governing councils in existence.
